750ml bottle poured into a teku
A- pours jet black with a one-finger creamy khaki head that reduces to a ring
S- cinnamon and cocoa nibs up front with undertones of brownies, chocolate fudge and oaky bourbon
T- rich and malty up front with notes of dark chocolate, brownie batter, caramel and toffee. Mid-palate brings out the cinnamon notes, as well as some oaky bourbon and a hint of coconut and vanilla. The finish gives notes of cocoa, cinnamon, brownie batter and oaky, lingers of cinnamon
M- heavy body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that continues into a thick and chewy warming finish

Poured from a bottle into a plastic tumbler
L: pours like motor oil, thick deep black/brown with a minimal ahead at first that dissipates quickly. Minimal lacing, nice legs
S: rich dark chocolate with a healthy amount of cinnamon but not dominant. Nice barrel undertone, bit of abv burn if I hunt for it (ie sniff aggressive)
T: follows the nose, very rich chocolate chocolate chip brownie with a good amount of cinnamon (think this could be a little lighter). Something a bit off on the flavor, is a little bitter in a way I can’t quite place. Medium-long finish. My fiancée had one sip and said “rancid banana bread” - not sure I agree, but after she said it do get some banana
F: medium/light carbonation, medium/thick body could be more viscous
O: decent BA stout, excellent nose and full of flavor but the cinnamon dominates and overall taste is a bit one-dimensional
