Appearance: Pours the color of pink grapefruit juice with a slightly pink head that holds better in the clear bottle than in the glass; dots and squiggles of lacing
Smell: Plenty of funk in the aroma here with tart cherry tempered by the sweeter blueberry tone; dusty oak and vanilla bean
Taste: Tart Luxardo cherry flavors coat the taste buds with just a hint of the sweetness peeking through; blueberry tones emerge to temper the tart aspect as the vanilla and oak arrive to add complexity; the finish is dry and funky
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation; puckery
Overall: I have taste a lot of Fonta Flora fruited sours and they are at the top of their game on this one; as good as anything I have tasted from others whose reputations have been made in the category
