Appearance: Pours hazy with a pear nectar color and a half finger head that fades to a ringlet; dots and squiggles of lace
Smell: Tart and funky with the cherry wood adding character; earthy and oaky
Taste: The tartness tingles on the tongue from the outset; with green apple, woody and earthy elements; dry and sour with a touch of residual caramelized sweetness
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low to moderate carbonation; quite puckery
Overall: A lot of interesting flavors going on in this mixed culture brew
