Appearance: Corked and capped, the clear copper liquid fills the glass and builds a small head that quickly fades to a ringlet; a squiggly lacing pattern lingers
Smell: Some serious funk in the aroma blends with vinous white wine grape tones; there is some sweetness but a considerable sour aspect
Taste: The front end brings both sweet white wine grape and sour tones simultaneously with the sourness eventually dominating; funky in the middle but the finish brings an acetic vinegary element
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low carbonation; puckery
Overall: The top of the cork was wet when I popped the cap; I know that is a bad sign with wine so I wonder whether some oxygen has gotten into the bottle that has caused the vinegary flavor
