Appearance: Pours a red raspberry hue with a pinkish head that slowly but steadily fizzes away; just a few patches of lacing
Smell: The raspberry is pronounced and complemented by funk, oak and a whiff of muscadine grape
Taste: The tart raspberry flavor powers forward, at the outset, with the sweeter element lurking beneath; muscadine grape complement, bringing some depth; the oak builds, with the swallow, with the funk adding complexity to the finish and aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; puckery
Overall: Very impressed by this one; Fonta Flora does a nice job with raspberry fruit and the muscadine combination works very well
