Appearance: Arrives espresso colored with a thin head that slowly fades to a ringlet; spots of lacing remain
Smell: Roast and chocolate tones with Bourbon and a hint of rum raisin
Taste: The rum raisin flavors jutt forward and are joined by the cinnamon; the chocolate starts to build with the Bourbon arriving, mid-palate; the finish is a blend of all the flavors
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with low carbonation
Overall: Interesting impact from the adjuncts and the rum barrel; creative, but not among my favorites

750ml bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours a thick black color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a ring
S- lots of cinnamon up front, followed by heavy barrel; bourbon, wet oak, rummy molasses, brown sugar and caramel. Undertones of booze soaked raisins, chocolate and roast
T- heavy barrel up front with equal parts rum and bourbon giving notes o molasses, brown sugar, caramel and bourbon barrel juice. Mid-palate brings out cinnamon and booze soaked dark fruits. The finish gives more barrel that continues into the linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a slightly warming finish
