Aged on house-roasted Virginia peanuts and Videri cocoa nibs.

On tap in a snifter glass.
Deep brown and dirty black color, opaque. Thin cap, dark tan. A few specks of lacing.
Strong roasted malt aroma laced with vanilla and cocoa. Interestingly, the peanut aroma comes through, too.
Rich dark chocolate flavor with a side of vanilla. Slightly candied dark fruits like red grapes and figs. The peanut search is on.
Incredibly smooth and chocolate-melt-like. Medium body with an alcohol tick.
Very good and I’ll look forward to having it again.

Look: It pours black with a brown head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has roasted aromas with peanut notes and chocolate. There are hints of dark fruits in the background.
Taste: It has strong roast flavors with some chocolate and peanuts with a bit of salt. It also has dark fruits that feature plums.
Feel: It has a smooth and silky body that is quite pleasant on the palate. There is medium alcohol warming.
Overall, a very smooth and pleasant beer to drink.
