Acquired a can via trade with @BMBCLT 4-1-23. Canned 1-5-23; consumed 3-19-24. Cold stored for maybe the last 6 months.
Beer poured black with an awesome tan head that has great hang time.
Nose is roasted malts with a touch of cocoa and nuts.
Taste is a medium to heavy roasted malt base with a very nice chocolate adjunct. Peanut adjunct is subtle and melds nicely with the cocoa. Finishes adequately hopped and balanced with a touch of roast in the end.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and smooth.
Overall this was a tasty beer, unfortunately i waited too long to try it.

16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours a thick jet black with a one-finger foamy khaki colored head that has good retention
S- dark chocolate, charred malt, anise, roasted peanuts
T- rich chocolaty malt up front, followed by a nice undertone of roasted peanut. Mid-palate gives some charred malt, black licorice and figs. The finish gives more peanuty undertones, with a sweet malty chocolate linger
M- medium-heavy body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a creamy finish
