A bourbon-barrel aged imperial stout conditioned on carrots, coconut, pecans, raisins and vanilla.

Deep, dark brown body, opaque; very thin ring of dark foam inside the glass. Very fine aroma; cocoa and chocolate; notes of dark pitted dried fruits. The taste amps up flavors of cocoa and bitter chocolate; a trace of vanilla; boozy; amburana-like spiciness. Heavy body; mildly scratchy of the palate; prominent alcohol heat.
Slightly rough around the edges but surely an interesting barrel-aged imperial stout. Not a lot of carrot cake notes, but a bold barrel aged stout nonetheless.
