Opaque dark brown with a khaki head that settles into a thick collar. Smell is laced with barley and wood, especially dark wood but cherry there too, bourbon, black strap molasses, char, and heavily toasted caramel in the backseat. Taste is not as typical with the cherry wood smashing through everything with bourbon and barley, with charred earth. Feel is robust and very rustic, wood and barley shape in a shape and dry way, booziness warms the ending pretty noticeably. Almost has a winter holidays impression so save for a chilly night

750ml waxed bottle into a Side Project snifter.
Minimal coarse cream colored head. Thin legs , dark mahogany color. Nose is caramel, green and purple raisin, brown sugar, and booze. Aromatic. Alcohol is a bit sharp. Beer opens raisin, prunes, and caramel. Brown sugar and barrel in the middle. Hints of tobacco, more wood, and a touch of heat at the finish. Sticky, slick. Body is full with low carbonation. Smooth and soft on the palate and goes down boozy. Long, lingering, sticky aftertaste.
Solid overall.
