Had on tap at the Fonta Flora Nebo brewery. Dark opaque pour with a thick chocolate colored head that stuck around until the glass was empty. Gorgeous beer. Rich bourbon, burnt malts, burnt toast, and heavy vanilla aroma. Omg this smells so good. Worth the price of the pour just to sniff it. I love how the aroma builds anticipation for the first sip. Much sweeter than I was expecting: caramel, chocolate, big bourbon flavor but the sweetness and vanilla balance it out. I think this is the most balanced and flavorful beer I've had in my life. Sooooo delicious. I'm definitely taking a bottle home for later. Bourbon on the back end with a sweet bourbon after taste. Mouthfeel is THICK!!! Yet incredibly smooth. Goes down silky smooth and coats your throat. Leaves your tastebuds yearning for more. Fonta Flora is lowkey one of my favorite breweries that consistently brews stellar beers. They hit a home run with this one.
