Clear pale golden brew with a modest foam. Lovely grainy aroma with green hay. Less carbonated than you might want for a light bodied brew. The Cream of Wheat flavor is so pleasant, makes for a highly drinkable malty beer. More flavors of potatoes with a hint of mushroom gravy for some reason. Hops are flowery and elegant.
The label says "Industrial Lager" and I don't think I would categorize this as a Pilsner. Certainly the Germans have never used toasted rice in one. Overall this is a really decent pale Lager though it could use more spritz on the tongue. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. On the bottom it says "Canned on 07/20/20."

A well-done Bavarian Pils.
A lingering subtle bitterness, just like the style calls for.
Modest grassy nose in the face of mostly malt. Tastes are well-balanced with hops that the brewer seems to know hot to contain. Finishes semi-dry. Refreshing. Bubbly enough. In fact, Hipster cleanses the palate effectively as much with the hops as with the bubbles.
My first from Faction. I went on their website and they seem cut from Berkeley's irreverent bolt of cloth. That said, this was a nice simple lager that did its job.

A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high frothy white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of buttery malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste is a little sweet and has flavors of buttery malts. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is rather sweet compared to other beers in the style and lacks any bitterness.

My very good friend Jon Passow sent this a bottle of this to me in a birthday beer package, so I've had a bottle of this sitting in my fridge for a little over 2 months now. Poured out of a 12 oz. bottle into one of my stange glasses, this beer pours a clear to medium golden color with lots of little streams of bubbles rapidly and continuously rising to the beer's surface. Has a very thick white head that's about 2 inches thick when first poured that settles to a solid 1/4 of an inch thick about 5 minutes after being poured, and eventually settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass with some decent lacing. Aromas of some slightly biscuity, grainy malts along with some citrus hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with some grainy, biscuity malts and perhaps a bit of wheat that gives way to some mild citrus hop bitterness. Not at all a complex flavor profile here. Simple, straight, and to the point. And that's just fine. Has a fairly crisp, yet also smooth and frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate to heavy carbonation. Easy to drink in the right way. Has a clean finish. A pretty good beer here. Glad i got the chance to try it.

Bottle into pilsner glass.
L: Light golden with 3 fingers of variable density white soapy head with great retention and left minimal spotted lacing.
S: Pleasant grain forward nose, hints of citrus hiding underneath. Citrus increases in prominence as it warms.
T: More citrus dominant than the nose. Finishes very clean.
F: Low body with moderate carbonation, light on the tongue, crisp on the swallow.
O: Really nice lager, will definitely buy again.
