A nice, easy-drinking ale. Generally I tend to find beers that trend towards the lighter side to be a bit lacking, but I really like what the saison funk added to this one.

It is a pretty dark red/brown and has a 1.5 finger off white head. Spotty lacing. The aroma has the Saison yeast with some funk. I can tell there is am Amber base ale. The taste is like a Saision with the yeast and grassy funk, but some of the amber flavor comes into play. It's interesting, but I imagined it would have more of a funky tartness to it. Very similar to Lakefront My Turn Matt.
