Version with. Calypso and mango.
Very nice hop profile, and Brett had time to work on it. Reminiscent of orval with some age on it

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a somewhat hazy golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of barnyard funk. Taste is plenty funky, some citrus, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Had OBU Batch 009 - Cashmere Dry-Hopped on Toasted Coconut poured from 16.9-oz. bottle, purchased at Great Raft on 07/04/2019, into Teku 3.0.
Pours bright gold with clarity until bottle dumped, and huge, difficult head that sticks around and to glass. Aroma is lovely and complex, with mild Brett funk over herbal Cashmere hops, toasted coconut and mild pilsner malt. On drinking, the Brett is even more muted in what drinks most like a Brut IPA, with toasted coconut complementing the very dry finish.

this is amazing stuff, apparently a rotating series, but the one we had was a 100% brett fermentation with el dorado hops, and it was one of the best beers from out whole trip to new orleans last week, really impressive overall, and i have now liked every beer i have had from these guys so far! the bottle starts to slowly gush when we open it, without much loss, and seemingly without stirring up too much cloudiness like sometimes happens in the process. it has an airy champagne head on it, tiny bubbles stacked up several inches high in the glass, and a softly hazy straw colored beer underneath. whatever strain(s) of brett they used here are amazing and well understood, its fruity and funky in the nose, with hints of white wine, musty basement, wet grass, and wet animal in its profile, a brux type, but real mature, just special right away, and with the almost candied citrus fruitiness of the el dorado here, along with some melon notes and oils, we have something quite spectacular in the nose! the flavor is every bit as good, but now with the hops coming first and the funk coming second. everything from chardonnay to watermelon to lime to kiwi, wet wood, and peach, the hops are fresh and fantastic and without much bitterness, while the brett is drying, expressive, and amazingly funky and well developed, even it its run a little wild in the bottle conditioning part of things here. i love the effervescence, this thing literally explodes on the palate with every sip, making it refreshing and alive to the highest possible degree. amazing texture really. this impressed me like crazy, an amazing brett ipa type, and close to a beer of the year candidate for me, its that good!

A: Poured into a tulip to a cloudy golden orange with a dense and rocky three finger head that retains well and leaves excellent lacing
S: Smells of brett and citrus with some nice malty notes
T: Taste is citrus and earthy hops with some brett funk and dry malty notes. Swallow is more citrus, funky fruity brett with some lingering hop bitterness
M: This beer has a mouthfeel that is fairly light but not watery with soft yet effervescent carbonation and a drying yet oily finish
O: Overall this one is pretty good. It's a fairly standard brett IPA that tastes pretty darn good. Definitely one to try if you like your IPAs on the funky side.
