Look: Two finger head that all but disappears in under a minute. The beer is slightly hazy and is a light straw color.
Smell: The aroma from the Saison yeast makes up the largest part of the profile. The Brettanomyces becomes more evident after a few minutes. It is the hay, stone fruit Brett smell rather than the funky stuff. There is also a little bit of citrus (lemon pith) and a slight metallic smell at the end.
Taste: A light/watered-down Saison flavor is most evident with a faint Brett flavor that eventually disappears after the first glass (purchased a 750 mL bottle). There is a lingering bitterness that was, initially, barely there, however, becomes more apparent as the beer warms up. It is more bitter than Saisons like those from Dupont or Fantome.
Feel: Heavier body than the ABV would indicate. There is a slight dryness throughout and a very light astringency that only shows up towards the end of the bottle.
Overall: This a is good beer. The brewer did a good job marrying the Saison and Brett yeasts and making it feel like a bigger beer than it should have at 4.3% ABV. The bitterness, as the bottle warmed up, was a bit too much for my taste, but, it is probably at an acceptable level for most others.

L: Pours a cloudy orangish yellow color with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Some sweet malt, notes of light lemon and orange mix with a very delicate barnyard funk and notes of sour and tartness. This is a fairly delicate aroma but it is very inviting.
T: The table beer portion of this beer really comes through in the taste, with notes of light oats and great and then a Belgian yeast comes in. Not quite as sweet or tart as the aroma suggests but you get some pleasant barnyard funk and a bit of tart and sour
F: Lighter body, lower carbonation.
O: This is a very subtle beer, it came seem like there is not a lot to it at first but the more you sip the more it opens up into a very enjoyable beer.

maybe this wasnt amazing when it was brand new, but after awhile in my cellar, its drinking really well. sometimes i wish i wasnt too lazy to upload photos of bottles, i think this has a pretty label that communicates all of local, classy, and quality, and i think the price was amazing whenever i bought it as nine bucks for a 750ml bottle. these guys just dont get enough credit, i would blame their hometown, but its not slowing weldwerks down any... i love this type of beer, a table saison or grisette type, rye and oats in the mash with wheat and barley, but low alcohol, cloudy, and at least partially wild. the funk in the nose of this yellow murky brew is awesome, mature brett, not sure if it has been like that since it was bottled or it developed a lot over the months, but its dry and super interesting. the label says its captured from the wild which is cool, it doesnt taste all the way cultured but its not stinky or amateur at all. i love all the grains in here too, the rye has a little old world earthy spice to it while the wheat and oats prop up the body, i cant believe its so low alcohol, its substantial and creamy even. a lemonade note, some bacteria i think setting in, but its on the dry side and very layered and textured and interesting. notes of honey, white tea, dried flowers, and dusty earthy pale malts along with the well developed brett wind it down, just awesome. i could drink this forever, and while its a step away from perfect refinement, its really, really good. i wish these guys got more love...
