Thanks, Nick!
Nick brought this and seven other beers out to me on a recent work trip. Had heard that Wiley Roots had really stepped its game up, which is crazy since I had liked most of their stuff anyway. Untappd had it as a, “Milkshake Sour IPA with Cherries, Graham Cracker, Cinnamon, and Lactose dry hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic and El Dorado hops.” Sounded pretty damn good.
Poured a medium amber hazy color with off-white frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Outstanding spotty lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled cherry pie filling, cherry candy, Mosaic, floral, strawberry jam, graham cracker crust and Fruit Loops milk. Mostly cherry from the can, but not as pronounced as from the glass. Got some Mosaic and Galaxy as well. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste was just as good as the nose. Wow. Was digging this. Got cherry pie filling, cherry candy, floral, Mosaic, coconut, Fruit Loops milk, strawberry jam, graham cracker crust and light cinnamon stick. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Sticky texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Tart, sugary finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Surprised at how much I liked this one. Just an excellent beer. (Overall - 4.25)
