I had a bit of this beer as well at an event, and it too was okay but nothing special, just like the Deep Roots that I tried. It's just your basic amber/red ale, not too notable. I've heard good things about this brewery but so far they haven't really jumped out at me. Oh well, I'm sure I'll try again.

Bought two 16 ounce cans from Beer Drop. The second can I will gift to my nephews for Christmas. (I also might give the second to my barber as a tip, but I see him less than I should.... so says my wife.)
About Leafer...I'd recommend it as refreshment only after a day of hiking to see the leaves changing and having forgotten to bring water. (I did that, in my way, today.) But I can't imagine choosing to drink Leafer again under other circumstances.
Leafer Looks a brilliant red in the sun... but where is the foam telling me this a live beer? Smells and Tastes are balanced about not much; marginal maltiness and hops. Cleanses my palate. Refreshing.
Wiley and UnTappd style this as a Festbier. I agree with BA, Leafer is very red and has Rocky Mountain lager sentiment.
As for my micro-review of Wiley Roots... I think I've heard this story before. Husband and wife open a brewery in Paradise, like to ski (or hike); but focus on sharing their beer passion. Wiley is ten years old. So by American marriage standards, Wiley is a success ! As for their beers, I'm not likely to find another I want to try... being a Belgo-phile. But, I wish Wiley well.

L:. Pours a very dark Amber red brown with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S:. Freshly toasted bread, strong notes of caramel, a touch of smoke and a light floral hop. I expected the aroma to be a little stronger.
T:. Fresh toasted bread, sweet caramel, a touch of syrup and malty sweetness, don't pick up a lot of hop.
F:. Carbonation is a touch low for my taste.
O:. This is a decent beer but I expected a little more.
