32oz. howler filled on 4/8/16 and served in a can glass. Pours a hazy straw gold with a loose, 1/8th inch, off-white head. Head quickly disperses into a soapy slick; thin strands of lacing are revealed during the tasting. Nose expresses grapefruit, pith and a light earthy quality towards the back. Taste consistent with nose; however, there's a biscuity quality that hits upfront. Mouthfeel is light in body with a crisp carbonation, a semi-dry finish and just a kiss of acidity. Overall, solid and easy drinking. A pleasant alternative if you're looking for something with character but not an in your face hops explosion.

Poured from a 32oz growler purchased that day into tulip glasses:
Appearance: bright yellow, and quite cloudy, with a moderately large pure white head. Little bit of carbonation visible, but not much. Leaves thin, but sticky lacing.
Aroma: light, crackery malt, but with a twinge of spice. Grassy, but with quite a bit of lemon as well. Aroma gives off a hopped-up saison-y type of smell, with very little bitterness and some really nice rye notes.
Taste: the rye flavor is really subtle and nice here. It's not overwhelming spicy or grassy by any means, but the rye is present for sure. Hops are also quite powerful in this beer, as they are in most Proclamation brews. Lightly citrusy, with some herbal notes.
Feel: light to medium bodied, with an easy-drinking, crisp finish.
Overall: one of the better IPAs from Proclamation, I would love to drink this beer on a nice summer day. Light, but with a hoppy, flavorful punch and some nice spice from the rye.

Poured 4/2/16 from a 32oz growler that was filled at the brewery earlier that same day, into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a cloudy light yellow color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral hops, citrus and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of fruity citrus and caramel. Then a strong and flavorful but not over-powering hops presence comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and the rye base is quite subtle creating a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a while.
