Huge head, lots of lace, a cloudy, golden yellow liquid. Slow fade and just eye catching to behold.
Big hoppy nose with a surprisingly big malt undercurrent. Juicy melons and sweet pilsner malt. Citrus and peppery spiciness.
Taste is top tier. Light sweet malt front with a ton of varied and complimentary hop flavors. Citrus and grapefruit skin. Mild tropicals. Tight astringent oiliness. Clean dry finish.
Feel is medium bodied, with solid carbonation and a crisp swallow.
Just a superb session beer. Like the can says, super crushable.

Canned 3/27/23. “Lil bro” stamped on the bottom of the can
Session IPAs aren’t generally that great, buf if I’m gonna trust any brewery to make a good one, Proclamation has gotta be one of them. This one’s been around for quite a while, so I’m surprised I’m just now getting around to it. Let’s crack it open and see what it has to offer
Pours a hazy yellow gold with 3 fingers of soapy off white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose doesn’t really seem to have any compromise in intensity for being just 3.8%. I’m picking up on aromas of pithy grapefruit, orange juice, bready malt, earthy hops, gooseberry, white pepper, underripe peach, and light caramel
It doesn’t have quite the same impact in taste, but it’s still relatively flavorful if not a touch too bitter. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting red grapefruit, crackery malt, resinous hops, orange zest, black tea, and light white pepper. The swallow brings notes of pithy grapefruit, earthy hops, orange zest, bready malt, pine, and light black tea
A light body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a prickly beer. Finishes neutral yet bitter
This is good as far as Session IPAs go I just wish the taste tracked better to the awesome aroma. Oh well

16 oz can generously brought up to me by a friend in RI.
Pours a very cloudy to opaque bright but muted yellow (with a hint of green tint). Head is half finger and fizzy and settles down quickly to a film.
The aroma is fantastic - really pulls you in. I get strong tones of orange, red grapefruit, peach and lemon. Very pleasant.
Taste starts off a little more muted than the aroma but very fresh and fruity notes get more prominent with time. I get all of the aroma notes but also some blackberry that kick in midway through and linger in the finish. There is almost no detectable malt to it so really you only get the fruity hops with a thin backbone of sweet malt.
The feel is thin and light - maybe watery even - with a nice lupulin smoothness, very creamy on the tongue. As mentioned before it is seltzery but not overdone.
This beer reminds me strongly of Whirlpool from Night Shift (which is one of my faves btw) so I am a bit biased here as I really like thin, light sessions. As they go this is a monsterously good one. Full of intoxicating flavor and aroma with the addition of the smooth, creamy feel and just the right touch of seltzer. This is up there with my favorite beers now. I don't get much of Proclamation's stuff but what I do have I have been nothing but impressed. These guys rock.

On-tap 6/25/2016 at Julian’s in Providence, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral hops, fruity citrus and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and caramel that are quickly followed by a strong but not over-powering grassy hops bitterness. The malt character light but provides a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Very crisp and very smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Very tasty, goes down extremely easily, not too filling, very mild kick, very good “session” representation of style, this is a very good IPA to pound down for a long time.
