On-tap 2/11/2017 at brewery in South Kingston, RI, served in a small becker glass.
A: The beer is a deep yellow color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a very thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains piney hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong piney hops bitterness that is quickly followed by some fruity citrus and caramel sweetness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Very crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, mild kick, very good representation of style, like all of the other Derivative versions this is a very good beer to drink for a long time.
