Look: Transparent straw gold with a thick egg shell colored head. Very active. Sticky lacing coats the glass.

Smell: Big sticky hops. Peaches, peppery, tangerine, melon, and grassy. All hops with just a light sweet malt.

Taste: Juicy hops burst forth with notes of peach, tangerine, melon, and a grassy green finish. Bready sweet malt fills in the body as a second wave of hops blow out the finish.

Feel: Medium bodied with a sticky hop body. Finish is dry yet quenching. No alcohol present.

Overall: Another great Derivative from these guys. Nelson hops are always tasty and complex so they are a natural fit for Derivative. Excellent stuff

Pours a vibrant, slightly opaque yellow with a fluffy white head that laces well. The smell is intoxicating. The glorious Nelson Sauvin with its signature gooseberry and white win like grape mustiness are showcased wonderfully in the aroma and flavor. A hint of sweetness from a seemingly simple grain bill lets the hop clearly take center stage. The feel is light, smooth, a bit velvety even, and well balanced just barely leaning to the bitter spectrum. Overall, this may be one of the best beers I've ever had. Cheers!

Poured 2/12/2017 from a 32oz growler that was filled at the brewery the previous day, into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a bright yellow color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains an excellent blend of floral hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of fruity citrus and caramel that are quickly followed by a strong floral hops bitterness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.

M: Smooth and very crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Very tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, decent kick, very good representation of style, this is a very good beer to pound down for a long time just like its predecessors.
