Canned 11/27/18.
Another stellar NEIPA from these guys. Love what they’re doing and can’t wait to try more, especially when I live close by in Newport! Super dank tropical fruit, tasty malt/grain character, and absurd drinkability.

Two cans. Thanks Jim R.
First one was in a becher, second one was actually in a stemless teku and though I don't always enjoy or find any difference in reviewing out of a stemless teku because there is no statistical evidence saying stemless tekus or tekus work better than becher pint glasses. In turn, here's my thoughts.
The appearance is a soft dark yellow-ed brown paper orange color with a small off-white foamy head gliding off in a nice fashion. Some semi-sticky lace rounded out on the sides.
The aroma had a nice sweet orange to pineapple to sweet sticky resiny/piney to melon-like character. Smooth fruity crisp semi-sticky quality.
The flavor moderately yields towards the sweet side but definitely finds a nice middle ground with a semi-dry and a semi-bitter to crisp and clear sweetness flowing on into the aftertaste with some pulpy sweetness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Definitely has the low carbonation here, perhaps a bit more than expected for a New England styled IPA. Still, somehow, there wasn't any cloying quality to it. Some stickiness but not cloying. Yes to the smooth finish, but I guess that is obvious considering what I already said.
Overall, as much as I tell people I am getting tired of New England styled IPA's, still, this one definitely shows it's worth. Of course, I would come back to this.

The best of RI hands down. Easily competes with any IPA from treehouse.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge of the glass, and bits of lacing down the sides.
S: Light aromas of cantaloupe melon and orange citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of cantaloupe along with hints to notes of oranges. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems to be a little more "delicate" compared to others in the style when it comes to the aromas, flavors, and juiciness, but it still fruity without any bitterness. You need to pour out the bottom of the can to get the full degree of flavors. It is extremely easy to drink.
