Great name, a gift from my BiL.
This is very tasty, I get toffee and butterscotch up front before a drier finish featuring a tea note and dehydrated, spiced fruit.

Good Barleywine!!! I enjoyed sipping this one outdoors by my firepit. Poured from a pint can into a pint glass, this beer featured a clear dark copper-color and a small fizzy cream colored/off-white head. Head retention is average fo a strong beer and there is some lacing on the glass. Aroma is not pronounced with some mal and toffee. Taste is much more prominent - malty - both bready and caramel malt, toffee and some dark fruit. I agree with other reviewers about the sweet figs with maybe some plum as well. Quite tasty!!! Mouthfeel is medium rich, not a lot of bitterness and some moderate alcohol presence, enough to make it a sipping beer but not enough to be called "harsh". Very enjoyable!!!

Pours a very clear mahogany color with a lively but short-lived half inch tan head. No residual bubbles, but decent "legs" on the glass.
The smell is sweet, bready malts accompanied by some mild dark fruit - figgy. A little toffee as well and a slight nuttiness. There's just a little alcohol smell.
The taste follows but there is more sweetness. Malty, but more of the toffee and sweetness. There's some fig and date fruitiness. A bit of a peppery sting and a little alcohol. There's a fresher fruit flavor as well - plum and maybe a little pear- that is quite pleasant. A little hazelnut peeks out once in a while.
Feel is a little creamy but the body is a bit light for the style. Mildly warming. Gently carbonated.
Overall, this is a nice enough beer. This isn't at the level of top barleywines but it's tasty, doesn't break the bank, and hits the style markers pretty well

Wow super fresh, canned 2021/12/20, and cool name
Pours a med frothy dense off-white head with moderate retention, fair lacing, hazy iced-tea brownish tan color
Nose super fusel and solventy, earthy dirt and wet cardboard, maybe even a little garbage, mild sweet candy malt
Taste just as bad, tons of solvent and fusel alcohol, again that earthy dirt garbage and wet cardboard, candy sweet malt, caramel, spicy hops,
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, med carb, fusel alcohol
Overall wtf was this, something wen really wrong with this, I can't believe they even put this out. Just when I thought I found a good brewery in RI, they put something like this out. Fuuuuuuuuu!!!!

Canned 9/26/19, stamped with the words "T-Rex Hands" above the canning date?? Can brought home from the source, interestingly enough my first barleywine so here goes nothing
Pours very still, no head to speak off, just a deep walnut brown with some sediment floating about and some red glow about the edges of the snifter
Aromas of toffee hit me first, backed with a sweet malt. Maple syrup and dark fruits are present but the aroma feels subdued overall
Ok, now that's a complex flavor. With each sip I taste something new. Maybe the most obvious flavor here is dark fruit, definitely close to a fig as others have mentioned, some slight roast comes after this but is washed over with flavors of vanilla and earthy wood
Unquestionably full bodied, this beer is ever so lightly carbonated, but it works perfect in this scenario. A rich, creamy finish leaves the mouth slick but satisfied
This one started off a little rough no doubt, but I enjoyed the hell out of this as it went on. Definitely boozy and can be felt and detected a bit, but this huge beer is making a statement. It's nice to have a local as my first example of the style, I'm looking forward to try more of these or drink this one again!

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a deep mahogany color with a finger of off-white head. The head leaves a crown of lacing before settling into a thin sheet.
The aroma brings notes of plum, raisins, and fig, with some subtle notes of pecan and booze.
The flavor brings a ton of fig followed by some sweet malts. There are hints of plum and caramel as well as some nuttiness. Kinda tastes like a fig newton covered in booze.
The feel is full-bodied with soft carbonation. Very smooth yet very syrupy with plenty of warmth from the alcohol.
Overall, a solid barleywine that's a bit sweet and boozy for me, but still a nice sipper on a cold day.
