16 oz can from egrandfield into Bell's Pint glass.
Super pale hazy color, very attractive, like a fruit smoothie; Tall off-white head of 2 fingers.
Aromas of grapefruit juice and orange juice; tropical fruits, oranges, mangoes, lemon, peach.
Heavy handed bitterness to start - sawdust and grapefruit rind, some pine/grass, and then on the back end some peach and pineapple pop up, with some squeezed orange.
Feel is creamy and juicy/acidic. More acidic than creamy, and has a biting slightly drying finish with some alcohol heat.
Overall not a bad NE IPA, certainly better than anything I could do. Has a nice bite and good fruit flavors. Only thing I'd change is the hard bitterness, soften it up a bit.

16 oz. can served in my Spiegelau tulip. Pours a dull, milky orange with a loose, half inch, bright white head with a turbid clarity. Great nose - bursts of tropical fruit (think mango, followed by notes of pineapple and earthy/herbal notes). Taste consistent with nose with a pleasant bitterness that cuts through the middle of the flavor profile and lingers between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a mild, even carbonation and a pleasant, almost creamy mouthfeel most likely attributable to the flaked oats. Overall, a very nice iteration of the series with a fair amount of complexity.

This was great. Got better as I drank it. Also seemed to be better than I thought when I had others later in the week. It is slightly earthy a bit more bitter than traditional. I get citrus peel, lemon, grapefruit.
