Pumped when I saw this because obviously Derivative is a great base recipe but I also hadn’t ever heard of Comet hops. Apparently they’re quite unique, especially as the sole hop variety. Really unique flavor and different from the popular qualities of the notable hops these days. As described, you get fresh strawberries, a bit of grass, watermelon rind. Every other aspect falls into place as it’s always been a delicious APA.

Cloudy golden color with a 3F head in a Spielgelau IPA glass.

Mild aroma of citrus, grapefruit, strawberry, earthy.

Thicker MF - this enhances the pale ale, a style which often has a thinner body.

Great taste: citrus, strawberry, some tropical fruit with a sharp hoppy finish.

Excellent beer from Proclamation.
