Pours a honey brown. Smell is predominantly banana with cocoa & vanilla. Taste is a wonderful & unusual combination of the aroma with strong bananas. Medium mouthfeel. An unusual barleywine that works very well.

16oz cans served in a Spiegelau tulip. Pours a tawny honey gold with a loose, quarter inch, fizzy head that dissipates towards the edges leaving a soapy/fizzy slick across the surface. Cocoa on the nose, as well as notes of banana and a hint of toffee. Taste consistent with nose -banana dominates, followed by cocoa powder and the merest suggestion of toffee. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an easy carbonation. Overall, decent complexity. The banana quality is interesting but a bit overpowering. Curious to see what six months does to this.
