Hit with a massive amount of Nelson riding with an El Dorado sidecar, exploding with notes of funky white grape, orange sherbert, grilled peaches, and yellow starburst with grassy, dirty-in-a-good-way special Southern Hemisphere terroir funk for days.

Unusual that a 9% beer doesn't taste somewhere like a Baltika 9...ie, like beer with a dose of vodka. But this one doesn't. It's an excellent, fruity NEIPA.

From a 16 fl. oz. can dated 05/29/2022. Sampled July 4, 2022.
It pours a hazy, murky, pulpy golden-amber underneath a foamy, ivory head that laces as it slowly fades. Never really goes away though.
Oh yes, fruity elements are emitted in the aroma. I'd say papaya, tangerine, berries and a lower profile cereal grain.
Smooth medium or better mouthfeel.
The flavor is at first bready but those fruity characters tends to come in and balance it out. It is 9% but I'm not getting an alcohol in the aroma or in the taste. Just a mild, fruity finale. Decently done.

16oz. can served in a tulip. Pours a dull orange with a hazy clarity and a loose, 1/8th inch, off-white head that disperses towards the edges leaving a large bullseye dollop of foam across the center. Nose expresses a big burst of orange juice with a hint of herbal rind in the back. Taste follows nose. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an assertive carbonation and active acidity. Overall, just a really nice DIPA. Lots of orange without being too juicy.
