Saw this at the store and picked it up because Proc is local and I love a good fruited sour
Pours a weird ruby color with a finger of pink tinted white head, fades to a ring fast and leaves minimal lacing
Very fruity in the nose, jammy and sweet but still tart, almost smells like a fruity cereal that I can't quite place, but it's very appealing. A bit like the cereals with those dehydrated strawberries I suppose
Throw that awesome aroma out the fucking window, because this tastes awful. Yes, I'm getting the fruit in the back end of the sip, but the rest is just horrendous. The nicer flavors are covered by the repulsive lactose character, this had to have spoiled or something. Disgusting
Not really drinkable because of this, but there's some prickly carbonation and the finish is ok
Well so much for a sour brew on a warm day, this was just gross. It has no canning date, but I really hope that this was an infected can. Definite drain pour :(
