Slightly hazy yellowish gold on the pour with a 3/4 inch dense white head. Falls to about an eighth inch uniform cap, some sticking, long-lasting.
The aroma is a balancing act between dank funk and pineapple, lemony brightness, white wine grape, bready malt, a smattering of tropical fruit. There's a mild oak woodiness and grassy herbal hoppy goodness.
The taste...it's bright and kinda in your face. The Brett carries throughout the taste and lingers some along with a couple of friends - white pepper and oaky phenolics. Lemon comes in quick along with the bready malt with the pineapple. And it keeps going...white wine grape, a little apple, some honey sweetness, grassy/herbal hops, the oak becomes more assertive, playing off the Brett. It's all very bright and I am resisting the urge to drink this quickly. The Brett lends a mild and pleasing tartness.
Medium bodied, a bit tingly on the carbonation but the peppery and lemon give that a boost. It's dry on the finish. Mildly bitter.
This is a delightful, uniquely flavored brew to me balancing two seemingly disparate entities in the Brett and the hop character. It's right there on the line - too much of either side would be a disappointment.

Brett IPA, huh? I've had some Sour IPA's (though it's been a while) and I'm fairly certain those were lacto-soured, not brett. Proclamation throws all the rules out the window with this one. Will it make for a good beer? Who know, let's get into it
Pours a lightly hazy yellow gold with 3 finger of white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves minimal lacing
The brett brings a huge dank funk to the nose of this one. I'm picking up on aromas of pineapple juice, dank weed, lemon zest, pear skin, bready malt, wildflower honey, white grape, light papaya, and grass
In taste the brett brings a bit more tang which is much appreciated, but still maintaining a nice funk all along the way. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting lemon yogurt, bready malt, wildflower honey, grassy hops, white pepper, white grape, tart apple, and light toasted grain. The swallow brings notes of lemon yogurt, pear skin, tart apple, crackery malt, wildflower honey, tannic white wine, grassy hops, and straw
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp and juicy beer. Finishes dry with a nice funk
This is definitely unique. Not as tart as your typical Sour IPA, but the brett does some nice work here. Good stuff

Brett is a finicky addition to beers, especially in an IPA. A lot more could go wrong than right. This one really works well. The funk balances nicely with juicy hops creating a ver happy middle ground of just the right about of funk/dryness in combination with bitter and juiciness. Recommend.
