16oz undated can.

Pours milky yellow with a half inch head of white fluff. Retention and lacing are average. Pear juice and grapefruit in the nose. Medium bodied with a chalky mouthfeel. Pithy citrus and a big bitterness on the palate. Grapefruit pith with unripe peach. Finishes dry, bitter, chalky, and with lingering grapefruit pith.

From the can 10/16/20. Opened and reviewed on 11/9/20

White haze to the dense thickness of the mostly golden liquid. Lots of nice sticky lace all over.

The nose is full of freshly picked hops, husky earth and sticky Lupulin powder.

Deep complexity of dry earth tones in the flavor, bitter, dry, lemon zest, black pepper and crisp golden malt makes for a fun exploration of this experimental Hazy ipa and it's interesting hop utilization.

Feels fresh, zippy, smooth and rather dry in the finish.

My kinda style.

16 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours a hazy yellow gold color with a finger of white head. Not much retention but leaves a fair bit of sticky lacing.

The aroma brings notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, lime juice and white grapes. Has a biscuit malt backbone.

The flavor follows the nose: Lemon and lime, fresh grapefruit, white grapes, and plenty of dry, doughy malt with a grassy, herbal finish.

The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. A tad thin and watery.

Overall, I wasn't a big fan of this one, but overall it's a pretty good NEIPA. There's absolutely nothing special about it whatsoever but it's drinkable and fruity and hits most of the notes you expect of the style.
