IPA fermented with oak staves. Aromas of white peach with a hit of melon. Soft notes of cantaloupe and honey dew with lingering vanilla and oak notes on the back palate. Very creamy mouthfeel accents vanilla flavors nicely.

You know, oaked IPAs aren't very common, and I think this might be the first time time I've seen a NEIPA aged on oak, so I'm quite intrigued by this one. Picked up a single of this on a recent trip to Proc along with some others that sounded good
Pours a hazy pale yellow gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that quickly fades to a cap and leaves patchy lacing
Odd, there's really not too much oak in the nose here, expect for a touch of vanilla. I'm picking up on aromas of juicy cantaloupe, underripe peach, grassy hops, orange, soft doughy malt, and some sweet vanilla
I do like what the oak does to the taste here, it's mostly in the finish but it keeps this from blending in with the pack. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting grassy hops, underripe melon, and juicy orange. The swallow brings notes of pithy grapefruit, smooth oak, creamy peach, and a sweet crackery malt
A medium full body pairs with very gentle carbonation, resulting in a velvety smooth beer that goes down super easy. Finishes almost entirely dry with a pleasant balance between bitter and juicy
Certainly a unique beer, something I think these guys try to do a lot of. The resulting beers aren't always the best, but I always appreciate what they do
