16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy orangey squash color with 2 fingers of creamy off-white head. Great retention here. Leaves a crown of sticky lacing as it stubbornly settles into a thick cap of foam. Very cool color. Like burnt orange with a tinge of pink.
The aroma has a surprising amount of fresh, biscuity malt. Right up front. Interesting. Then comes some strawberry banana yogurt, banana bread, and fresh tangerines. Not bad. A bit different.
The taste went pretty heavy on the strawberry, with some banana bread, biscuits and grapefruit. Again, interesting.
The feel is medium bodied with little carbonation. Very creamy with a dry finish.
Overall, this beer is weird af. The ingredients aren't weird by any means, but it's almost like drinking a strawberry fruited hefeweizen with lactose (please don't make that). It's not bad. I guess I'd classify it as more of a fruit/vegetable beer, but I digress.

Canned 2/17/21
I've been on quite the Proclamation kick lately since I went and grabbed a bunch of singles from the brewery last week. As I've mentioned before the quality tends to be mixed, with some beers being awesome and others being weird or just not good. This one I feel could be one of the weird ones, I don't think I've ever seen a sour with banana in it, and I don't know if there's a reason for that but I guess we're about to find out
Pours an opaque brownish orange with a finger of white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves patchy lacing
The nose here is definitely interesting, much like a fruit smoothie with some beer-y aspects, not very tart at all. I'm picking up on aromas of juicy strawberry, chewy banana, orange juice, and some soft bready malt. Weird but not bad
I wouldn't define this as a sour as it's listed on the can, but looking past that this is pretty tasty, despite it not resembling beer all that much. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting lightly tart raspberry, lemon, strawberry, creamy peach. The swallow brings notes of banana, grapefruit, and crackery malt
A medium body pairs with very mild carbonation, resulting in a thick beer with a milkshake-like consistency. Finishes mostly dry despite this though
Like I said, you have to set aside all expectations to enjoy this beer. It's an oddball for sure, but tasty for what it is. Pretty easy drinking despite the 7.1% as well
