16.9 oz bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a deep, hazy plum color with 2 fingers of fluffy off-white head. The retention is immortal, being eternally reinforced by suds that are reminiscent of a miniature honeycomb around the glass. Is there something wrong here? Because this is pure art. Best pour of beer I've ever seen.
The aroma is nicely tart and acidic, bringing notes of fresh raspberries, lemon juice, blackberry yogurt and pear with a good amount of grassiness and funk. There's also a touch of Merlot wine and vinegar.
The flavor starts off with a ton of grass, hay and funk, followed by a wave of red wine grapes. Lots of vinegar, lemon, blackberries and raspberries bring the tart, while notes of oak, vanilla, and biscuity malt reign it in.
The feel is medium bodied with good carbonation. Crisp, dry, tart and drinkable as hell despite the ABV.
Overall, holy shit. This is my first "Alpaca Magi" beer and it is without question the best wild ale I have ever experienced. It's funky and tart, as you'd expect, but it's so well-balanced and drinkable that you can't help but wonder if the 8% ABV on the bottle is a typo.

Picked up a magnum of this at the brewery, more than excited to rip this one open. A BBA wild ale with raspberries, blackberries, and merlot grapes. Sounds like it’s right up my alley. This one will be a challenge to get through, let’s go
Pours an opaque brownish purple with a finger of pink tinted white that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves no lacing
That actually smells really nice, very fruity and subtly funky. I’m picking up on aromas of tannic red wine, tart raspberry, funky leather, tart lemon, blackberry sorbet, wet hay, and a touch of vinegar
The taste is pretty much just as good, leaning more into the funky wine characteristics way more. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting sharp vinegar, oak, lightly tart raspberry, strawberry, and a touch of leather. The swallow brings notes of sour lemon, blackberry, cherry, tannic oak, wet hay, and a crisp bready malt to close it out
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a refreshing tart beer. Finishes almost entirely dry with a wonderful tartness
Wow. Looks like I need to have more sour stuff from Proc. This was really good, I hope they keep releasing this series as a magnum
