Very dark chocolate color with a thick creamy 4F head in a tulip.
Chile, roasted malt ,coffee aroma, cinnamon.
The taste has stronger flavor than the aroma with sharper edged flavors of chile and roasted malt, some coffee, chocolate and cinnamon.
The flavors broaden with warming up.
Light body with an easy drinking MF.
An enjoyable milk stout with chiles.

16 oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours a hazy cola brown color with 3 fingers of sudsy caramel head. Pretty good retention with a fair bit of splotchy lacing.

The aroma brings notes of cocoa powder, caramel, chocolate cake, and roasted malts. There's a faint hint of cinnamon and an even fainter hint of spicy chilies. Tingles the nostrils a bit.

The flavor follows the nose with chocolate cake, roasted malts, and caramel. There's a bit of coffee before a light touch of cinnamon. As the beer warms, the chilli flavors poke their heads out for an ever-so-subtle kiss of spiciness.

The feel is medium bodied with lower carbonation. Fluffy and soft and a touch oily.

Overall I'd say this is a pretty good milk stout, albeit a disappointing one. The flavors and aromas are nice, but the chili character is just far too restrained. The cinnamon adds a nice little kick but the chilies are non-existent unless you let the beer warm up. Even then, it's very subtle. Still, a nice, flavorful stout.
