12oz. Pour served in a tulip. Color is a dull orange with a slight haze to the clarity and a tight band around the shoulders and a large consistent dollop across the surface. Nose is subdued - suggestions of candied citrus and possibly melon in the background. Taste is consistent with a Tripel - more candied citrus, light toasted malts across the middle and a light herbal presence; however, it comes off subdued, despite the ABV. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a pleasant, even carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Overall, a decent example of the style. Would love to see this in a whisky barrel.
