Canned 6/??/22. Day obstructed
I have not been a fan of this “Oooh!” series so far. The only reason I got this one is because it was part of a mixed sour six pack I got a few months back. I’m hoping the combination of blackberry and mabgo in this one makes it a little more interesting than the rest. Let’s get into it
Pours an opaque burnt orange with 2 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
Much to my surprise, this actually has a pretty decent tartness in the nose. I’m picking up on aromas of dried mango, lemon juice, vanilla, tart blackberry, doughy malt, and light honey
While this is probably the best in the series as far as taste goes, it’s still not great. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting mango sorbet, vanilla, lemon zest, doughy malt, and light blackberry. The swallow brings notes of vanilla, doughy malt, overripe mango, blackberry, sweet honey, and light lemon zest
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes sweet and sticky
I can’t say I like this one, but I also don’t hate it. It’s definitely the easiest variant to choke down but still not really enjoyable. Oh well
