Nice take on a Winter Warmer. Not too sweet to be labled just a "dessert beer". I had it with a quiche and it is good to accompany rich food too!!! Poured from a 16 oz. can into an Airforce Academy snifter, this beer features a bubbly off white head that fades fast, no lacing and a nice reddish brown color. Aroma and taste are mostly cherry, cinnamon, vanilla and some holiday spices. Smells and tastes very good. Not"artificial" like some of the poor quality Pumpkin beers and holiday brews I have tried. Mouthfeel is rich, spicy and mildly sweet. It is a winter warmer, so there is some alcohol presence but it is not harsh. A worthwhile brew!!!

Well that’s quite the list of adjuncts for a style like a Winter Warmer. Cherry, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla sounds like an odd combo, but given the base style I’m assuming they’re going for a pie thing with this one. Let’s crack it open and see if I’m right
Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a finger of off white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
Oh yeah, the nose here is definitely pie-inspired, and nicely balanced for that vibe. I’m picking up on aromas of stewed cherry, pie crust, bready malt, sweet vanilla, toffee, light maple syrup, and a touch of herbal hops
The taste puts the spotlight on the cherry even more, losing some balance but still retaining a nice taste. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart cherries, cinnamon, pie crust, bready malt, light pecan, and sweet vanilla. The swallow brings notes of stewed cherry, brown sugar, molasses, pie crust, cinnamon, maple syrup, and light booze
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes a tad sticky and warming
This is solid stuff. Definitely unique to have these adjuncts over a Winter Warmer base instead of a Stout
