he production staff has wanted to brew a Maibock for quite some time now, but it never really fit into the schedule. One day, a couple months ago, I stumbled upon a beer showing in the calendar that I hadn’t seen before and was like, “wait, what’s this?” It had been redacted so that the information about the brew remained confidential.
Developed and brewed in secret and conditioned for a whopping 100 days, the team is finally ready to release “Maibock” our German-Style Lager.
It pours light amber in color with nice, bubbly carbonation. A bready malt aroma with a light, floral hop aroma greets your nose while a crisp bitterness balances out the sweet malt notes.
This beer isn’t the only thing that was well hidden... the 6.7% abv is as well!

Pours a clear varnish color with a solid inch of dessert white foam. Foam collapses to a thin cap, decent cling to the glass.
The smell is sweet malt, a little bready, nice floral hops even though it's a few months old.
The taste is slightly sweet, caramelly, and bready malt. Lightly floral and grassy on the hops. There's an odd astringency that I'm not digging - can't find a descriptor for it. Almost metallic.
Feel is medium-bodied. The bitterness is sharp and touching on unpleasant. It's not long-lasting but it's so sharp it stands out. It's dry.
Overall, not something I need to drink again. Weird flavor note and the oddly sharp bitterness aren't pleasant.
