Collaboration with Long Live Beerworks. Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Raspberry & Lactose. Sweet raspberry hits you up front, followed by notes of decadent chocolate and raspberry Tootsie pop.

Canned 2/17/23. “It’s all here” stamped on the bottom of the can
A collaboration between Proclamation and Long Live? Well damn, that’s 2 of my favorite breweries in RI, so this has to be good. I picked this one up a while ago and quite honestly forgot about it, but I could go for a fruited Stout tonight so this is perfect timing to stumble upon it again. Let’s get into it
Pours a very dark brown with 3 fingers of frothy tan head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves nice lacing
The raspberry leads the nose, but thankfully not in a weird medicinal way that these can sometimes present. I'm picking up on aromas of jammy raspberry, dark chocolate, sweet vanilla, cherry cordial, molasses, light roasted peanut, and caramel
It's not quite as fruit forward in taste, yet it still keeps things nice and balanced. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting milk chocolate, vanilla, black cherry, brown sugar, tart raspberry, light roast coffee, and caramel. The swallow brings notes of jammy raspberry, milk chocolate, burnt caramel, vanilla, cherry cordial, light molasses, and light roast coffee
A medium full body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes a tad sticky but dries up pretty quickly
It's nothing amazing, but it's a pretty damn fun and tasty beer. I'm all for more collabs between these guys. Hell, throw Origin in the mix too
