I got this as an extra via trade from @crowlcrowlcrowl. Nice surprise to see Other Half do a Kolsch. I don't know if I got BBS 1 or 2, so since 2 was added recently and this is a recend can, I'll assume it's 2. Poured into a standard pint glass.
L: A light to medium golden color with a one finger white head. Not much glass lacing.
S: Grainy, fruity with pear, apple, lemon and some floral notes.
T: I get lots of fruit with pear, apple, lemon that mixes with some floral and vegetal flavors. Grassy and grainy with some hefty bready malt sweetness. Finish turns back to the fruit with a dry lingering slightly bitter finish. Nice.
F: Medium mouthfeel with nice carbonation and slightly bitter. No alcohol.
O: An excellent kolsh, maybe one of the best I've had. Very drinkable and totally enjoyable. I just love what these guys are doing. Very good beer.
