I didn't know what to expect from this one, but I really enjoyed it. Pours with a fluffy head and a nice funky Brett aroma. Taste is very crisp and a little spicy. Really nice.

Pours a moderately hazy pale straw in color with a finger and a half of dense white head that leaves behind moderate lacing. Aroma is straight funk, it's not super intense but it's he only note. Taste features funk as the primary flavor with some floral and lightly tropical notes. Medium+ body and high carbonation. Overall a decent beer but I was surprised hows funky this was given that its young.

Very cloudy golden body with a soapy bone-white head. Aroma is citrus zest, grassy funk and hay. The flavor is bi and Brett-forward but maintains a lot of the big juicy notes with lots of citrus in the base IPA. Feel is medium bodied, medium carbonation, lingering funk flavor. I'm not the biggest Brett fan, but this one really works.

Picked this up when it was released at the brewery and finally got around to it on this dreary and windy day. I'm not usually one to favor a beer with so much going on, but this really grew on me as it warmed up. So much funk here and with a balanced mouthfeel and moderate amount of alcohol, this went down easily as it didn't feel anything like a typical American IPA!

Very nice pour to this as the beer had a cloudy but bright goldenrod hue to it with a ton of enduring, frothy head and a bit of sediment left behind at the top of the bottle after each pour. Nice rings of lacing were left behind on the back of my Teku glass as I worked my way through this as the funk was what I felt first and foremost in the nose and taste. Lots of that quickly grew on me, to go with a nice earthy hoppiness, mild peppery mouthfeel, grapefruit citrus funk, and carbonation reminiscent of champagne. Light and effervescent, there were hints of feet and band-aids in here too to remind me that this was indeed, a funky beer!

There was just the right amount of alcohol here as it could be felt at the end but never tasted and was quite recessed compared to everything else that was taking place in this brew. A subtle melon dankness and good amount of tropical pith where the only reminders that this was indeed, an American IPA but in the end, this could have easily been categorized as a Belgian IPA or Wild Ale. Fun stuff that served as further proof that Other Half has it going on right now and is a worthy brewer for lots of others to collaborate with. I wish they'd bottle this again!
