Hazy pineapple-juice-yellow, with 1.5 fingers of creamy white head.

Smell is pineapple (from 3' away!), fresh-squeezed orange juice, and a slight touch of mango.

Taste is slightly bitter orange rind, dried pineapple, and a slight herbal flavor and aftertaste. Moderate bitterness. Slight , barely-there sweetness and creaminess as it warms.

Feel is light-medium, and juicy. A bit of tingle near finish, and lingering a bit afterwards. light, very, very fine carbonation tingle. Front of the tongue feels very dry for awhile after finish.

Another good one from OH. :) I like the bitter herbal bit, balancing the usual sweetness. Reminds me of some of the OG Beer Tree stuff with Michigan Copper hops. (Don't get much of that from BTBC anymore. :( , so this is a nice flashback. :) )

Look: Pours an opaque, orange juice color, with a thick, half inch head of densely packed, off-white foam that laces the glass incredibly well.

Aroma: Powdery. Dehydrated fruits like mango, orange and pineapple. Big notes of sugar.

Taste: In no particular order - Peaches and cream. Cotton candy. Sweet lemon / Lime fruit loops type of thing. Orange juice. Pineapple Juice. Raw honey. Bitter, freshly mowed grass. Spicy, sticky pine tar kick.

Feel: Full bodied. Very rich and creamy. Low carbonation. Almost smoothie like.

Overall: Hard to put down. A delicious imperial.

L-Hazy, opaque,……1/4 inch head with moderate to thick lacing….slightly darker than straw in colorization

S-Lots of overripe melons and papaya. Overripe ripe stone fruits such as plums.

T-Tropical fruits…. Orange, mango, pineapple, passionfruit and lychee. Flavors are much brighter than the nose would indicate.

F- Soft and pillowy. What you would expect from OH oat beer. Low carb.

O- Well crafted OH brew

Pours a hazy yellow colour, plenty of head.

Smell is citrus, with some lychee.

Taste is the same. Hope for more potenty in the flavour, maybe it's a tad too old.

Feel is fizzy with medium body.
Hopes for more from this.

A very thick hazy look with a nice creamy flavor with a mix of orange and lime flavor. A fairly strong aroma but not overwhelming. Very enjoyable.

Updating from June review. Another 2 months in frig for 2nd can. Enjoying flavor more. Much more Motueka taking the lead. The “green” is not quite as present , but lime more pronounced. Being a Motueka fan…this was a welcome evolution in the beer.

Original review.4.28.
Poured from can. Beer from FLX brewery.
Nice pour; hazy slightly muddy yellow full white head that dropped leaving very nice layers of lacing and a decent full foam and halo on surface. Attractive.
Nose was subdued… a bit grassy and dank. Some fruit.
Taste mirrored. Citra and Motueka fwd for me. Nice NEIPA with a bit more dank than some other Daydreams. Which perfectly fits with name.
Body is our usual creamy smooth we expect from Daydreams. Nice background carb.
Overall a good OH Daydream. Enjoyed.
But merging an NEIPA with this much Green doesn’t work enough for me to buy again. Too many other great OH brews I love and expect to try first.

Pours gold and orange, cloudy, fluffy head and lacing. Smell is citrusy: orange and lemon notes. Taste follows with a slight dankness. Very clean mouth watering finish, subtle alcohol presence. Rather tasty.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of very nice lacing.

S: Opens with a kinda herbal grassy peppery note, follow by zesty citrus, and some tropical and stone fruit, all held together with biscuity malt and caramel sweetness.

T: Citrus, vibrant lime, plus Meyer lemon, and tangerine, tropical and stone fruit, starfruit, papaya, passion fruit, mango, peach, and apricot, green herbal kinda peppery notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderately prickly carbonation, kinda creamy chewy.

O: Another really good beer in the Daydream family. Really dig that oat cream base. Only thing keeping me from rating it higher is a fairly pronounced green herbal notes that sits somewhere between lime leaf and green pepper.

16 ounce can in a Nordic pint glass. 30 days young.

Nice looking sunshine yellow-gold color, dense and opaque. White cap, 1f, quick drop, lots of heavy lacing.

Alcohol soaked citrus and oats. Tropical and stone fruits.

Citrus mix; orange, lemon, grapefruit. Some sweet stone fruits in the end, cherry and peach.

Juicy and boozed in a good medium bodied brew. Creamy oat chew and lasting hop flavors.

On the better side of juicy creamy brews. Very stable aromas and flavors from beginning to end.
