Really looked forward to this when it first came out as I've enjoyed many of the previous offerings from the two breweries that had a hand in this beer's creation. Loved the logos of both of them being on the label and thankfully, the product inside was just as satisfying from start to finish!
Good pour to this as the beer had a candied, apricot hue with the usual amount of rocky, webbed head that quickly settled as the big bubbles burst. Not much lacing left on the side of my teku glass except for a spotty ring around the middle of it. Plenty of oats, lactose, cream, and citrus in the nose which *almost* made me feel that this was a dessert beer. That notion was reinforced in the taste as this felt like an orange creamsicle with some peach vegetal hops, and wheat thrown in to round things out. Very unique in how much the aroma differed from the taste but somehow, everything ended up working out in the end, even if the citrus pulp, pineapple dankness, and hint of vegetables were this offering's parting shots...
With a relatively recessed level of alcohol, the unique concoction of hops were allowed to play out and fully emerge on my palate. Canned on 6/1 with "DROP A GEM" written below it, this was a gem but one that took some patience to fully uncover. This really grew on me as it warmed up and had so much body and complexity that it forced me to slow down to fully enjoy it. Stuff like this is why we out here in beerland love collabs so much!

L: Super hazy straw-colored body that draws a pretty crisp head that recedes quickly
S: Citrus peel, tropical fruit and pear
T: Lots of tropical and citrus notes. Just sweet enough to let the flavors shine but an otherwise dry offering
F: Fairly soft on the carb side but it's very drinkable and smooth. the bitterness is spot on. The body could be a little fuller for my taste, but it's true to style
O: A truly fantastic offering.
