DDH All Citra Everything Imperial IPA-UK Version (10%) is a beefed up version of All Citra that we brewed with Cloudwatter Brew Co. We added extra oats and pils malt to get this beer up to 10% ABV and then we co-fermented it with our house strain and yeast direct from JW Lees in Manchester. The JW Lees house yeast is actually a blend of 20+ different yeast strains and is only obtainable by being super nice to the folks at JW Lees. It adds a lot of extra depth to the beer and is very unique, not to be missed. We then hit this beer with our usual double dry hop of Citra Lupulin powder.

Traded out for this beer as I was away from the area for most of November. I love the regular version of this and this one had quite a British feel to it as it nearly reminded me of what an "Imperial ESB" would taste like. This was an improvement over the regular take on this since there were more flavors and depth to it, and it changed a lot more as it warmed up in my Teku glass.
Nice pour to this as the beer was cloudy, off-orange, and topped off with yet another impressive head. Not a terribly strong aroma but there was certainly orange, tangerine, lime, citrus pith, and floral notes in the aroma. All of those were present in the taste as well, with a strong amount of oats in the body for good measure. A dank and earthy floral presence stood out here and counterbalanced the brighter notes quite nicely. Not a lot of lacing to be seem but there seemed to a strong feeling of lime and tangerine juice, which made this quite thin in consistency.
To be fair, this was a best of a beer but an understated one at that. Haven't had anything that was this deceptively strong in ages and by the time I finished it off, a nice warming effect came over me. The yeast wasn't anything like what I've had before and the malt was neutral, allowing for a chance to savor this and take it in. Without a doubt, this beer deserved to have the Union Jack on the label as it had a nice British feel to it but was still an Other Half brew at heart. Nice job all-around on this one!

Pours pale orange with a nice two finger head. Great lacing. Aroma of citrus, pineapple and mango. Taste follows the nose with tangerine, dank and light earth tones. Really tasty collaboration.

16oz can. Pours a hazy pale orange with an inch of fluffy head. Tons of lacing. Lots of tropical and citrus fruits in the nose. Pineapple, mango, guava, tangerine as well as some dank hops. The taste is overripe tropical and citrus fruits. Pineapple, guava, mango, tangerine and lime zest. Dank and herbal hops towards the end with a pine bitterness. Citrus peel finish. Maybe some of the toasted malts show at the end but this one if hop dominates. Heavy body with lots of carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. I'm not sure if this is an improvement on an already great beer but it's worth seeking out regardless.
