16oz can from Tavour. My Other Half obsession continues. Hazy golden pour, thin silky white head. Citrusy aroma, musty ripe fruit. Taste is grapefruit, orange, tangerine, zesty and bone dry.

Pours cloudy orange color with a 1-2 finger thick white foamy head that faded very slowly and left excellent lacing plus a layer on top. Smells of tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, honeydew melon, lemon zest, fresh cut grass, coriander, wet hops, buttery wheat bread and orange peel. Tastes like it smells with orange juice, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon zest, honeydew melon, orange creamsicle, coriander, wet citrus hops, fresh weed, biscuit, caramel, buttered wheat bread, and all kinds of fruit juice. It comes off as dank, with a lot of citrus flavor. Mild carbonation, a light bitterness and a very smooth feel makes this an excellent, easy drinking beer.

This was the first of the OH "Green" beers I have tried.

From the Brooklyn Brewery.

4 pack of 16oz cans. Two weeks old.

I now know that any mention of "Green" in the name is going to result in a beer which is drier and has more vegetal and pine notes, as well as lingering bitterness than the juicier fare OH is most known for.

A very well executed beer. Some juiciness. More citrus and pine and less tropical notes to me. The beer is drier than many OH beers and has a non-astringent, pleasant bitterness that lingers. It is slightly drier to me than DDH Green City but not nearly as dry or bitter as Green Dots.

A well executed offering that is good to drink alongside some of OH more tropical fruit-juice bombs to provide some contrast.

From a 16oz can, dated 12/08/20. Served in an IPA glass.

Pours murky, opaque, dark, dull orange with a finger-and-a-half of soft, whipped fluff. Retention is excellent, leaving a heavy, creamy blanket and a solid curtain of pouffy lacing.

Aroma is mellow and pudding-like, or custard-like or, I don’t know, something soft and dessert-like.

Taste surprises by being fruitier, sharper, more assertive and profoundly dank. White wine and melon, pine bark, guava and bhong water. Not so much bitter as dry and with a hop-oily zinginess.

Feel is juicy, medium-dense bodied with all the edges rounded off, and brightly carbonated. A little boozy warmth.

Overall, good stuff. Initially I was a little turned off by the nelson-like white wine and melon character after the yummy pudding-like nose - was that the spelt? - but I stuck it out and it grew on me until, by God, I was wanting another can which, luckily, I had.

Fluffier head than is typical from Other Half.

Piney, vegetal aroma.

Taste is dry, with a little bitterness. A hint of pine. There is juice and fruit but not as much and not at sweet as some of Other Half's IPAs. There is a little hit of alcohol.

A solid and unusually dry offering from Other Half.

Canned on 6/08/18 with "EVERGREENS" written below it, this was a beer that was true to it's moniker given how much "green" was in it. If you like your beers to be deep, dank, and tasteful, then you've found your match with this one!

Plenty of subtle radiance with this once as the golden hue had it's own glow from the get-go. Enough head topped it off and the lacing left behind covered nearly all of my pint glass, serving as an indicator of what was to come. Tons of oats, spelt, deep and dank Galaxy, urine, and dirt on the nose as it drew me into this beer and never quite let go. This had such an earthy feel to it that it felt like it was brewed by someone who did this as a side job and didn't work for a commercial brewer - but I mean that in a good way. No sweetness or bitterness to this as it had a "rough around the edges" feel to it that was quite endearing, with some deep melon and cantaloupe to it that had me wanting more from the first sip onward.

Enough booze was in this to keep on par with everything else that was going on but the ripe tropical fruits, recessed carbonation, and deep, dank hops were what this beer was about. If you like your beers to be green, reach for this one. You won't be disappointed...

Canned on 3/25/19. I think this is my first offering from Other Half, and I am excited. Let's see how she fares.
L: Pours a lovely sunburnt golden yellow in color with zero transparency. About 2 fingers of an off-white head formed from a rather standard and slow pour. The amount of lacing on this glass has me ready to give it a try, generously coating the glass.
S: Very melon-forward on the nose, with hints of lemon, grapefruit, mango and bountiful floral aromas.
T: Honey, melon, orange, tangerine, lemon and apricot all come to mind. There is a decent amount of sweetness to the beer, but that is balanced with the dry wine grapey finish that leaves a citrusy floral aftertaste. Nice hoppy presence at the finish with mild pine notes.
F: Incredible. Soft, smooth, pillowy, lofty and creamy. Carbonation is at that perfect medium giving the right amount of loft.
O: An outstanding beer and I didn't expect less. I am glad to finally have tried an Other Half offering, and this isn't letting me down. The hop profile reminds me of Heady Topper in some odd fashion, like it is old-school in the flavor profile. Perhaps it's the Vermont Yeast that was used. Regardless, I am thoroughly enjoying it. It encompasses that perfect balance of juice and hops, making it stand out from other NEIPAs. I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!

Look - poured into an IPA glass from a growler that was tapped today (4/8). one finger head, lemon yellow in color, and hazy.
Smell - hefty amounts of citrus and tropical fruits, some malts, with a little bit of sweetness. fairly mild in smell but quite inviting.
Taste - largely aligns with smell. Citrus and malts are well showcased in the taste, with some bitterness and the lovely creamy finish that I find with the good unfiltered IPAs. So, so tasty.
Feel - medium bodied with low carbonation. ABV is respectable at 7.5%, and will creep up on you if you're not careful.
Overall - another masterpiece from The Other Half. This one showcases hops and malts almost equally, and is a great beer even for non hop-heads to enjoy.
