This new dual hop features one of our favorite new hops, Idaho 7, which has big juicy pineapple character with classic Galaxy hops.

Cloudy orange with a big, white head. Tropical fruits, melon, citrus, and a hint of dank hops in the aroma. Light bitterness, smooth and highly drinkable.

This was yet another beer from Other Half that I bought, stashed, and took a while to get around to as it lingered in my queue. Loved anything else that had two hops in it and this was not exception as it was wonderfully smooth, flavorful, and easy to drink while having a bit of an edge that drew me in throughout my time with it.
The pour to this was a nice, uniformly cloudy goldenrod with just a bit of dark sediment settling at the bottom of the liquid. A bit more head could have topped this off but the lacing was extensive as there were hints of rings that emerged among the splotches. Pineapple juice, mango, papaya, and tropical fruits filled the nose as the felt like Hawaiian Punch minus the artificial sugar and corn syrup. Floral, tropical and dank, the hops tasted quite experimental as this felt like fruit cocktail in a can. It was heavy but at the same time, smooth and easy to crush once the exotic mouthfeel became familiar.
Yes, there was enough booze in this as this was indeed an Imperial IPA but I could feel it more than taste it as it only added to this beer's allure. Idaho 7 would still be categorized as experimental to me but thankfully, the carbonation was somewhat subdued as I became more accustomed to it as my session wore on. This was a solid brew that might not appeal to all, but would certainly please anyone who took the time to savor this enjoyable combination!

Tall can direct from the brewery a few days ago.....10/16/18 stamped on the bottom.
Thick n hazed, pretty typical NEIPA look. leaving behind a nice looking fine film, low ringed sheeting and a load of super fine scattered lacing...nice looking brew
Fruit overload on the nose with pineapple juice abounding.
Smooth and flavorful, loads of more pineapple juice, light lime, mango, tropical fruit goodness. Truly delicious stuff, with a soft, velvety and flowing fruited up milk shakey finish....go get some
