Once again, this was a beer from Other Half that I bought at the brewery and put into my queue, only to have it sit for a while until I got around to it. That point would be tonight as I finally cracked this open and hoped for a winner - which this was. The hops in this were not what I was accustomed to but in the end, this worked as it was a smooth sipper that had plenty going for it as it was typical of the high quality brews that Other Half has been cranking out in recent years!
Not a bad pour to this as the liquid looked like orange juice with enough head topping it off. Plenty of lacing stuck around starting with a well-defined ring near the top of my pint glass with several thick patches below that. Lots of heavy fruit in the nose - some tropical, a bit of citrus, and lots of overripe dankness. The taste was just as heavy on the palate, which was a bit of a surprise given how easily this went down. Pineapple, earthy funk, feet, and cactus juice in the taste as this was one of the more unusual beers that I had from Other Half.
Not a lot of booze in this and the malt was recessed as this had an underlying, subtle slickness the lingered once the last sip went down. Only a bit of sediment was at the bottom of my glass when all was said and done as there wasn't anything printed or stamped on the bottom of the can. Would love to have this fresher but as it was, it did the trick and left me wanting just a bit more...

Appearance is a dark yellow that is near gold. Poured with 1.5 fingers of bright white head.
Aroma is mainly overripe citrus and tropical fruit.
Taste is a medley of fruit flavors that I’m having some difficulty picking out all of them. Definitely getting pineapple, orange and maybe even some pear.
Feel is where this beer shines. Full, creamy and soft. Coats the palette nicely.
Overall a very good ipa. Mouthfeel is spot on and the aroma/taste are good as well.

Can to sniffer.
LOOK: very dark yellow. Smallish Whiteh ead. Thick look for such a light-colored beer. Good retention.
AROMA: Ew! Perfume, rotten pineapple. Cactus. Celery.
TASTE: not so bad as the aromatics, but not really tasty. Some light fruit, yeast, grains with some bitterness.
FEEL: medium body, OK carbonation. Well crafted, but the poor flavor don't really allow me to savor the mouthfeel.
This is very odd. Not liking these flavors. I know it's not the mosaic, so it must be either El Dorado or mouteka. Future research to clarify.
