Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours black with a finger of light tan head, smell is toasted coconut, cocoa powder, vanilla, and creamy coffee, taste follows the nose with coconut, dark chocolate, hints of berry sweetness, feel is medium bodied and creamy. A coconut forward crusher of a stout.

Appearance: After a nice bubble show, the tan head sets in at two fingers, capping the espresso colored liquid; excellent retention and splotchy lace
Smell: Chocolate fudge, coffee and coconut tones waft
Taste: Chocolate fudge forward with the coconut emerging; through the middle and after the swallow, the coffee becomes ascendant; the finish is on the sweet side but the coffee keeps it in check
Mouthfeel: Full bodied and very creamy, with moderate carbonation
Overall: Amazing mouthfeel for the ABV and while the flavor profile is a bit sweet for my palate, OH did a nice job with the coconut on this one

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Tree House snifter glass; canned on 11/21/18, code I'M IN LOVE WITH THE COCO.
A: Pours a very dark brown color with a one half finger of tan head that resolves quickly to a rim and little, fairly sudsy lacing.
S: Tangy at first pour, leading to aromas milk chocolate nibs predominately with sweet biscuit, coconut, and coffee only evident later.
T: Sweet but seemingly not lactose. The flavor picture in coconut, milk chocolate, and sugar cookies with coffee really coming on late. Bitterness solid and provides a strong counterpoise to sweet, so it never becomes cloying.
M: Medium bodied with light carbonation. Surprisingly light on the palate. Creamy and smooth.
O: I was really startled by how well represented the coconut was in this stout. Delicious, balanced, and smooth, and yes ... I did have it for breakfast.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a near jet black color with a half-finger of tan head. The head leaves some cobwebs lacing as it settles into a ring.
The aroma brings notes of milk chocolate, coconut, and dark roast coffee.
The flavor brings a ton of sweet milk chocolate and coffee with a finish of toasted coconut. Very sweet but never cloying.
The feel is full bodied with soft carbonation. Very chewy and syrupy. Soft, creamy and smooth.
Overall, a very good stout that is definitely on the sweet side, but doesn't overpower the palate. OH stouts are extremely hit or miss and lean towards being cloying rather than not. This one is a hit for me, and the sweet chocolate and coconut flavors are balanced out by the roasted coffee.

L-big 1 1/2 inch mocha head with moderate retention which leaves a scattering of lacing.......Dark black beer with little to no light penetration..........
S-Roasted coffee is the dominant smell......mild chocolate......faint burnt coconut
T-The coconut is more noticeable in the taste than nose.......coconut is followed by a big rush of mocha with more chocolate than coffee......mild licorice finish on the back of the tongue........
F-Full bodied and creamy but too sweet......carbonation is minimal
O-there is an overall sweetness to this beer that makes it a one and done deal for me........make a good dessert beer
