Canned on 2/23/21; consumed on 3/24/21

Pours a nearly turbid, dark sunflower-orange body topped with a finger of creamy, fluffy, eggshell-white foam; good head retention leaves a few paper-thin, spotty islands of cap, a thin, though rich collar, and a generous spread of webby/spotty lacing coating the walls of the glass.

Aromas start off with peach fuzz, wet moss, and white grape vine for an initial earthiness nodding toward a burgeoning array of fruits; a touch of lime sherbet bursts forth into a mango middle with distant coconut, developing creamy tones over time as clementine and papaya close the bouquet.

Taste shows boggy impressions of tangerine cocktail upfront, accented with mild grassy characteristics leading into oily resins meeting fresh clementine and guava into the mid-palate; a touch of underripe pineapple is steady into back end, where mango, apricot zest, and bits of creamy, tropical hop essence finish.

Mouthfeel offers a medium body and moderate carbonation, clean and without edges upfront before steadily developing pillowy, resinous textures into the mid-palate; vaguely bitter though increasingly creamy at its peak, the back end is slightly slick, with an even milder hoppy twang through the swallow.

A focused profile entrenched in waves of creamy, tropical hop saturation, the final product does largely lack distinction despite being thoroughly enjoyable and an overall rounded take on the style.

"2/23/21" dated tall can.

Top notch look to this nectar...heavily hazed/juiced, fine and frothy cap, leaves all sorts of stickage.

Over the top fragrant tropical fruit infused sniff...delish

Full on smooth and thick mouthfeel, milkshakesque.

The nose barges onto the palate sensations, pineapple, coconut custard, assorted other ripe tropical notes all over this one.

Boom...OH throws down...world class...at least...run and go get some...

Soft and creamy hazy IPA, notes of mango and citrus that are fresh and pop nicely; dry finish that makes this IPA as a whole an easy and quick to finish beer

Pours hazy orange. 1 finger white head.
Smells of rind and orange juice. Also has a dirty stinky feet quality when you put your nose in - dankish.
Taste comes through very orange juice after you brush your teeth. Kind of bitter and tart. Very juicy in that orange juice way. Some pineapple starts to shine as I drink into it. Really tasty. Finish is somewhat dry.
Keep going back for more. I like this more and more as the sips add up

From a 4-day-old can, pours a nice, hazy orange. Big white head, thick lacing. Smell shows a complex array of hoppy fruitiness, along with some earthy dank. Taste is stellar, with all the fruits. Fantastic smooth feel. One of the best beers I've had in a while.

Not 100% sure, but can stamp looks to be 02/18/2020... released on February 23rd.

Pours an opaque golden yellow, with soft thin head that forms a head of foam about half a finger high. As it settles, weak patterns of lace cling to the inside of the glass.

The formidable combination of Mosaic, Citra, and Galaxy on this one really creates an incredible aromatic profile. Notes of mango nectar, candied grapefruit, overripe pineapple, and sweet tangerine are just a few of the fruits I could pinpoint from this richly sweet, mildly hoppy nose. There's a touch of underlying malt and freshly cut grass to round it out.

Contrasting nicely from the nose, the hops really become more prominent on the palate. Featuring the more bitter, potent side of the grapefruit, further notes of floral hops, lime juice, lychee, grass, and pine stand out as well. Subtly complex, and as mentioned, a really nice contrast to the powerfully fruit-forward characteristics on the nose.

Medium-bodied, with a soft, seltzery carbonation and a subtle mouth-coating left in it's wake. No noticeable boozy warmth as it goes down, and its worth noting that this is an absolute crusher for 7.8% ABV.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy honey color with a two finger head; good retention and splotchy lace

Smell: Lemon-lime tones with a hint of kiwi

Taste: Lemon-lime forward with a developing kiwi element; pithy with a bit of tangerine emerging in the middle; bursting with the lemon-lime in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Here is an NE IPA that has strong citrusy bitterness and limited sweetness; a good job indeed

How many beers deserve to be called "The Dreamiest"? The best of the crop? The top of the pops? Well, this one had that title and I was a bit skeptical that this would be every bit as good as promised but sure enough, Other Half delivered with this one as didn't stay in my pint glass for very long. Yes, it was a year old as it was canned on 2/20 of last year, but it held up well and was as soft and bright as the label indicated. At the end of the day, what else could I have asked for?

Not to my surprise, this had a pour that I've become accustomed to from Other Half beers - golden, hazy, and just bit darker in the middle. While not uniform in hue, it was in clarity as there wasn't any sediment to be seen in the liquid. Enough head topped this off as the lacing left behind was mostly in the form of a thin ring near the top with a few diagonal splotches well below that. Lots of mango, tangerine, oats, and cream in the nose as the taste as just as fruity, sweet, and smooth - from start to finish. Some hope dankness, tropical fruit pith, and deep floral notes emerged as this fully warmed up but overall, this was a sweet and creamy beer that was just as dreamy as I could have asked for, with a finish that was the best of Florida, Arizona, and Hawaii put together. Slick, exotic, and sun-kissed, this was the dreamiest without becoming a cliche as it left me wanting more, and just a bit of water to get everything down...

The amount of booze in this was on the money as it contributed to it's heft without overpowering everything else that was going on. Dry lime, deep floral notes, and and a minty, tingly hop presence characterized the aftertaste as the smoothness gave way to the subtle complexities of this beer. This was wonderful stuff that easily deserved it's lofty rating on here, as well as another go-around!

L: Hazy bright yellow, a finger of head. Heaps of residual lacing coats the glass. In terms of the appearance, this is top-notch.
S: Mango, citrus, pineapple and hints of strawberry and kiwi. A nice grassy hop profile is noted, too.
T: Delicious. Ripe citrus, sweet mango and tart pineapple on the finish. After taste consists of lemongrass, mixed berries (such as strawberry and blueberry), mango and orange. Grassy and bright hop finish that carries over as well.
F: Incredible feel. Medium in body, light in weight. Moderate carbonation with creamy consistency. No booze, just silky goodness.
O: Can't ask more from a beer in this style. The flavor and feel for something that is 7.8% is refreshing and makes me yearn for more. I am thoroughly enjoying this and would drink this "dreamy" beverage again. Cheers!

L - pours a gorgeous mango juice haze. It looks... dare I say... dreamy. Brilliant gradient form milky yellow to dark, brooding orange cream. Slick, sticky head with lacing that clings for dear life.

S - zesty orange and lemon. Underripe cantaloupe, toasted oats, and peach ice cream. Full and invigorating. Warming.

T - kiwi seeds, rindy grapefruit, and pithy lemon-lime. Surprisingly free of the bitterness you'd typically find in the peel. Warm but not boozey. Tiptoes between sweet and zesty, constantly catching me off guard. Touch of pineapple and hop resins. Herbal bitterness creeps in toward the end along with a bit of toasted grain heft.

F - full and satisfying without the cloying thickness that usually accompanies such sensations. The oats certainly do their job to add body and backbone. Just feels "right" in my mouth. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

O - great balance here. Flavors seems spread out and limitless. I want to say juicy, but it exhibits more of a rindy flavor. I guess one could say it feels juicy and tastes earthy and natural with great heartiness. Meal in a can.

On tap at the brewery. White head. Hazy sunset golden orange.

Damn, this is fire. Strawberry, tropical fruit, and a little bit of lactos. This is soft and enjoyable. Such a crusher for being 7.8%. Creamy, soft, smooth. Wow! A bit of earthy green hops to round everything out.

Features Mosaic, Citra, and Galaxy hops, oats and lactose; DDH with Galaxy hops and Citra and Mosaic Cryo hops... 2/20/19 canning... Typical pale gold/orangeand juice-looking beer with a finger or so of white foam on top... The solid hop bill translates well, and this beer delivers a brightly fruity, citrusy, plush, and tingly profile... Tastes like a lemon-orange creamsicle of beer...

This one pours a very hazy pastel orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This one smells like mango, melon, guava, and cream.

IPAs rarely move me anymore, but this is still quite good. It's a mango hop bomb, with lactose, oats, wheat giving you a dreamy feel. It's in the name! There's some dank melon, too, with just a touch of herbal bitterness.

This is light bodied, and so nicely creamy, with a pretty great level of drinkability.

Maybe it's the marketing - this beer is marketed as natural and best endpoint of my favorite IPA series from Other Half - and I think it's utterly fantastic. Even if it is just subliminal, I still like this quite a bit.

i think hands down my personal favorite of the dream beers, this one is amazing, mosaic, citra, and galaxy, not a unique combination, but here, with such intense freshness and will timed hop dosing, they come together in a way that is new to me, partially helped by the boldness of the cryo hops on the dry hopping, but this is a beautifully fashioned beer, creamy in texture with a ton of starchy oats in the base, almost a meal in a glass it feels like in terms of nutrients, but this is much less about the grain than it is about the hops, exploding pineapple candy, green melon, lemongrass, guava juice, and clementine all hit me at once, very tropical, very southern hemisphere, and the essence of citra too, its on the edge of over saturated, like i can taste it in my nose and everything when i smell it, but the brightness of it all is incredible, perhaps my favorite beer we had on our visit to other half, certainly the most intensely hoppy and memorable for my money. these guys are obviously doing the hoppy stuff right, but this one takes the whole thing to the next level, among their best in my experience, even with the lactose, which i normally hate, but it works here. this is exceptional!

Can dated 12/7/18. Poured into Belgian tulip.
Look is dense light orange haze with a white head. Nose is hop explosion, get mostly tropical passionfruit and pineapple, apricot, and orange, with just enough dank hoppy tint to know it’s not actually fruit. Taste follows much the same but without the hop tint, just huge fruit flavors from beginning to end, finish right between dry and sweet, lingering fruit salad flavors. Mouthfeel is medium-thick and creamy. Overall another delicious beer from OH. Can’t really go wrong with citra, mosaic, and galaxy, the density of fruit salad flavors in this is above and beyond though, really awesome. Great stuff.
