16 oz. can. Hazy orange. Smells of sweet tropical fruit and acidic fruit. Tastes sweet. Sweet tropical fruit, a little herbal, and acidic fruits. Hefty hop burn. Medium body, no bitterness. A little tough to drink.

Can poured into a Bell's Brewery snifter
A: Pours super hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and leaves plenty of gorgeous lacing.
S: Bright zesty citrus, ripe tropical and stone fruit, slightly resinous green grassy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and tangerine, big time tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, apricot, and peach, grassy green notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, and just a hint of hop burn.
O: First beer from the 2nd random OH can drop to hit my area of CA this year and I'm all about it. Hard to go wrong with that hop combo. Really nice beer.

16oz can, dated 08.04.2022, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a very hazy and opaque golden color, straw and amber hues with a big foamy white head, good retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is nice, tropical fruits, bright pineapple and peach, bubblegum, pine needles, dank weed, sweet yeast, dough, and light booze. The flavors are good, bright fruit flavors lead by tangy pineapple and rich peach with some underlying berry fruit and bubblegum, contrasted with earthy grass, weed, pine, and hop leaf while some pale dough and booze lingers. The mouthfeel is good, heavier medium body, thick, coating, very creamy with a dry finish.
Verdict: A nice NEIPA from Other Half. Bright but bitter, well balanced and very drinkable despite the 8% ABV which is definitely on display at times.

Canned 4/12/22 (3.5 months ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy, pale and light yellow color that is completely opaque (0% clarity). A large white head. SRM of 4-6. (4.50)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, citrus rind and flower, pineapple, and some tropical fruit. Light aromas, but dynamic.
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, pineapple, tropical mango and melon, but not too sweet. Light and clean citrus flower, lemon/lime citrus rind, orange and pineapple mostly.
Feel: Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation. Relatively dry with a light flower component that lingers.
Compared to Disgruntled Brewing Galaxy Hops Cruise 7/24/22: Pours a lighter, hazier color. Similar, but brighter aromas. More citrus flower, rind, and pineapple. Less
Overall: A nice DDH NEIPA here. Nice citrus, citrus flower and rind, pineapple. The Monteuka hop is a nice addition here. It displays the citrus rind and flowery notes nicely that bring this beer up. Sort of reminds me of TG Pseudo Sue but in imperial form. Drinks nicely still at 3+ months out. (Rating: 4.27)

Three months old may have hurt this rating. Creamy and cloudy is the best way to describe the appearance of this one. Bright yellow gold hues. Smell is tangy notes of citrusy grapefruit and pineapple with a slight orange and lemon undercurrent. Smell is stronger than taste, as there are tropical fruit notes, but they’re more subtle than I’m expecting. Feel is like the appearance-creamy and bright. Lighter than I would have thought.

Poured into a glass, a HIPA standard, but not disappointing chalky deep pale gold with a foamy head.
Smells of citrus, pine, honey, cucumber, a bit grassy.
Flavor is dank, surprisingly malty, sweet but not overwhelming citrus flavor, the profile of an ABV a bit above its weight.
Tastes of orange, pinapple, very tropical.
Feel is crisp, spritzy, but with a warm finish.
Canned 30 days prior.

13 oz pour on tap. Pours a cloudy creamy yellow with a long-lasting off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma and flavor of tropical fruit, citrus, wheat, and hints of grass and onions (thank you Galaxy). Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. The 8% abv is well-hidden. Overall a solid (D)NEIPA.
